    Got my slide back and I am very pleased with the work. Got my Gen 3 G19 slide milled for the MOS with rear iron in front of optics. The milling is perfect. I had the slide black nitride. It came back better than it was before. The black nitride if the best I’ve seen on any Glock slide. It doesn’t leave finger prints and the black is deeper in color. I will be sending them more slides to be milled in the near future.

    Sent my slide in for the Holosun SCS optic cut. Received emailed updates from Battlewerx throughout every stage of the project. Slide milling and refinishing with the Black DLC was absolutely flawless. Really loving that DLC coating. Slide was returned within a reasonable amount of time. Trust your handgun with these guys!

    A Unique Glock 26 Gen3 with a MOS Cut Slide for Holosun SCS

    The Glock 26 would pair well with the SCS, but it only works with MOS. Luckily, Battlewerx came through. Now I have a truly unique SCS-equipped G26 with superb compactness. A few minor things to note (not negatives - the overall experience was without flaws) -The service took a while with slide refinishing. It was within their estimate window, but nearly exactly at the 6-week mark. -The slide with the nitride finishing starts off a bit "sweaty." This can cause some issues with tolerances that will resolve itself on its own eventually. Now for the good parts: -The slide that I sent in was in pretty bad condition. Battlewerx sent it back honestly feeling better than new. -The nitride finish feels much smoother and nicer compared to the chalky stock glock finish. -Everything fits properly. Screws go in clean. More notes (for all the Reddit nerds out there who call this stuff out) -The grooves are staggered like a checkerboard, rather than being aligned. Without going into detail, this is likely the best possible placement for Gen3. -For the 26, I went with no irons. The other option is irons in front of the slide. Totally not worth it with a 26 (and I am not sure if it would even be possible given the proximity to the extractor). I would definitely recommend Battlewerx.
